Gus embodies the spirit of selflessness, offering love and devotion without expectation. His eyes shine with a deep desire to connect and share affection. As we gaze into those warm, brown eyes, we're reminded of the profound impact of unconditional love.

There are individuals who inspire us with their generosity, constantly putting others first. They would much rather “give than receive” and almost look uncomfortable when faced with being the recipient instead of the giver.

Hopefully, we never forget the feeling that embraces our hearts when we offer something to someone. Helping with a project, giving the perfect present or saying kind words allows the giver to enjoy the reflections of happiness as the person embraces their gift.

When it is our turn to receive, we should try to be gracious and honor the giver with our sincere and humble thanks. It can be a challenge, but it is a kind act in return.

As for Gus, he never refuses his thanks… a scratch behind the ears or a kiss on the nose!
