Santa Bears!!!!!!! Holy Moly…we “unearthed” YEARS of:

*Four children each getting a yearly bear

*Countless years of Daytons’ Santa Bears

*Children growing up and moving out

*Storing the bears for years

*Pulling them from shelves in a cavernous closet

*Standing in awe (disbelief) at the plethora of plush

*Now, the decisions for their future!

I have been known to “collect” treasures, but have successfully stayed this side of hoarding! After revisiting the Santa Bear herd, I may have crossed the line!

Why do we keep things? My children certainly missed that genetic mutation! They have calmly told me that when I “no longer need my collections,” a dumpster will be involved! After unearthing the herd of stuffies from their hibernation, they better order at least two!

For now, I will keep a selection of yearly Santa Bears and find good homes for the rest! Hopefully , their adorable faces will not suggest that I keep them ALL!
